how to make a scheduled downtime persistent

Hi there,

i would like to schedule downtime persistent and not only for one day. Some hosts are not reachable every day at the same time or for the same duration; while full backup for example. Whatever I do, the scheduled downtime is always non-persistent, so I have to schedule everyday again.
Any ideas?
