Nagios Web Config

That is your htdocs or equivalent. If you're running Apache, Find "DocumentRoot" in your httpd.conf.

The "nagios" database is for storing data which by default goes into flat files.

The Nagios Web data is a different database altogether. It's called "nagiosweb".

There are scripts available which create these for you.

The script which creates the "nagiosweb" database should be included in the nagiosweb distro.

I had to download Nagios 1.2 to find the script which creates the "nagios" database as it was not included in my 2.x distro.

Subject: [Nagios-users] Nagios Web Config

I am attempting to setup the Nagios Web Config but I am running into an
issue already..
The nagiosweb-2.beta-3.tar.gz readme file in step one reads
- Create a directory under your htdocs folder named nagiosweb and put all
files from the nagiosweb filder into it.
Where is the directory htdocs? I am running Red Hat Linux version 9 and do
not see this directory..

Another issue that I am going to run into is for the MYSql Database called
nagios.sql. Are the databases supposed to go into a specific directory?

I am almost there so any assistance would be appreciated.

Thank You;
Eddie
