nagios and sendmail log entries (did not issue MAIL/EXPN/VRFY/ETRN)

Ah, great :-) I just figured that out myself:

 /usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_smtp --from=<> -H mx.server.tdl

I set sendmail's loglevel to 15 and checked what the old binary did:

Aug 10 23:54:01 blacky sendmail[24911]: j7ALs1Ei024911: <-- MAIL FROM:
Aug 10 23:54:01 blacky sendmail[24911]: j7ALs1Ei024911: --- 501 5.5.2 Syntax 
error in parameters scanning "FROM"
Aug 10 23:54:01 blacky sendmail[24911]: j7ALs1Ei024911: <-- QUIT

I seems that the old version did a -f by default and the forced syntax error 
is responsible for not logging, hehe funny!
