I see.
As far as i understand the problem is that the cmd.cgi cannot write to the
nagios.cmd pipe if it's on an NFS share. I don't know C that much to locate
more carefully the problem, in the end i will probably be enough crazy and
write a PHP script which will work on the webserver, and call cmd.cgi on the
nagios-box.

If i'll do that i promise to make it available to the open source community,
but it will be much later...
