I looked into monitoring a SAN with MCDATA fibreswitches and EMC Clariion 
- there was minimal fault data - a couple of SNMP traps and interface 
status.

It was more useful to monitor the disk mount mounts on the host and the 
SAN traffic using Cricket/MRTG...
