Missing CGIs

I will I am new to Nagios, I used to run netsaint.

But I decided to start this install from scratch and go step by step 
through the instructions. I am running this on a Debian 3.0

After a few hours or reading and configuring I have Nagios monitoring some 
basic stats but I notices I am missing a few CGIs that the main Nagios web 
page has links to.

So far here is what I have noticed missing:

/usr/local/nagios/sbin/

trends.cgi
histogram.cgi 
statusmap.cgi

did I do something wrong?
