Host down 2 days -- only 1 notifcation

Are you sure that:
- nagios was up?
- the host wasn't flapping?
- the contacts had notifications for d,u enabled during that time?
- the notification wasn't sent, but dropped elsewhere?

The nagios event log ought to hold answers.
