Temperature monitoring

No unfortunately, we have terminal servers scattered around already and you
can run long (10-20 metre) cables from the serial ports to the temperature
sensors so we've never had to try. there's TINI, dallas semiconductors
embedded tcpip system which you can plug into their chips, but it's about
$150...

I do have a plugin yes, which uses the digitemp program to query the device
(www.digitemp.com), the plugin is so trivial though it would only take 5
minutes to write something much better.

Running digitemp from the command line produces output like:

digitemp -aq
Feb 04 14:39:23 Sensor 0 C: 23.68 F: 74.62

so my plugin just wraps it up.
