Dear Gentlemen,

I am writing to thank you for your letters and say,

Nag accepst a HUP signal (from the CLI), re-reads and parses the config
files and continues without any trouble under FreeBSD, and has always
done so.

Does Nagios accept a HUP from the CLI (eg kill -HUP <parent_Nag_pid>) ?

In other words, it may only be the startup script that is the problem.

Yours sincerely.
