Status map

Hello!


Is it possible to build a status map for 100 - 150 hosts with long names 
and to preserve "minimum readable spaces" between host icons?

I currently have situation, when at least 20 - 30 hosts just overlapped :(

I know that i can use "user-supplied coords", but it's toooo messy. 
Maybe there any tool that can help build these coords by some layout?
