Problem with switching to daylight savings time

Hi all,

In the night from Saturday to Sunday at 3 AM we switched to daylight savings
time, which is 1 hour back, so to 2 AM.
Then, when I got to work today I saw all passive services of ONE sprecific
host reported a critical that time, 2:12 till 3:01.
Now there are other hosts nagios monitors passive checks on, but they were
alright, just this one host had problems.
It took me 2.5 hours until I suddenly realized that the nagios logs for that
time report the time between 2 and 3 twice. This too is OK for a switching
to DST.
Only one problem: nagios thought the sevices were not OK, when they really
were OK.
This was because for some reason nagios did not process any external
commands it got from these services the second time the server went through
2AM to 3AM that day.
The external commands of passive checks on the other hosts were processed
alright though.
That's my question now:

How come nagios did not process external commands for these specific
services on one host when it did for all other services when it switched to
daylight savings time?

I need to fix this problem as the IT staff here relies on nagios reports and
such false notifications seriously weaken their trust in nagios.

I would be happy to hear from you all soon. Thank you.

Sincerely

Daniel
