Apan Help.... :(

Hi, has anyone had success with apan & check_ping? I
can see the apan.cgi page, no graphics yet, but it
does have the weekly/monthly/headings, but the one
host running the apan service states no output, and I
get the errors below;

/usr/local/share/nagios/apan/plugs/disk: 14: Syntax
error: Bad substitution

I've attached my apan.cfg(uploaded as cft.txt) and
I've edited all the apan files to point to my correct
directories, running on Freebsd the paths are
funky..ie
/usr/local/share/nagio
/usr/local/libexec/nagios/ etc.etc.etc..
