Nagios 2 quitting

This is certainly not a planned feature for the 2.0 code... :-)  Try 
running the non-stripped nagios binary (compiled in the source tree) 
as a foreground process under gdb.  When it bails out, do a backtrace 
or two and let me know where its failing.  If you need more info on 
how to do this under gdb, let me know and I'll provide more details.
