Increasing the number of $USER#$ macros

I'm just curious if anyone had made a patch that allows for more than 
the hardcoded 32 values in nagios 1.2?

I'm finding that i may need more than the default 32 variables to store 
snmp communities, db passwords and nsclient passwords, etc
