Commenting in host and service config file.......

Hi List,

Actually I am using Nagios since a long but still I am not sure of one thing how can I comment some lines in nagios host and service config files. For example:-


define service {
        host_name                       localhost
        service_description             NPCD status
        use                             local-service
        check_command                   check_local_npcd!1:1!npcd!
        max_check_attempts              2
        check_interval                  5
        retry_interval                  1
        #event_handler                  restart-npcd
        notification_interval           15
        contact_groups                  admins
        register                        1
        }

Will it work like this...
