Hi list,

I just released the initial version 0.1.1 of a new Nagios
core compatible monitoring client called Moncli.
You can find all the
details on http://www.smetj.net/wiki/Moncli [1]

Some highlights are:

 	* Compatible with Nagios core based and derived monitoring
frameworks.
 	* Communication happens over http(s) using JSON.
 	*
Flexible, versatile check requests.
 	* Easy to write your own plugins.

	* Submits incoming active check results as a passive check result to
the monitoring environment.
 	* A built in scheduler which repeats
checks at an interval of choice.
 	* Flexible destination definitions.
Loadbalancing between multiple destinations.
 	* Queuing of check
results when a destination is unavailable.
 	* No config files
required.
 	* Can communicate with NSCAweb, NRDP or command pipe.
 	*
Pam authentication

Feedback is always welcome.

Thanks,
