check_logs.pl doesn't return output on RHEL 6

I strongly suspect that this is a perl
issue as RHEL 6 is using a newer perl version that is not entirely
identical or compatible to the one used by RHEL 4 and RHEL 5.

Are you
sure the other servers are x64 as well BTW?
