Status file not updating ( ver. 3.0.6 )

Hi Yu

Nagios internal's log rotation should have no impact on the the work of
nagios , as it is incorporated into it's logic.
take a look at the directory usualy var under the nagios default
location and view the directory permissions , the file permissions and
the user/group of the nagios process .

Also , are there any cron jobs running in the same time slot ? or
anything that might affect the disk IO or load on the machine ( try
looking at the crontab or at /etc/cron.daily and /etc/cron.d ) .
