The only performance issue we see is start up time increases as Nagios
has to flatten out all of the inheritance relationships to create
objects.cache when it starts up, but that is not much time for us.
Our start up time with 20,000 services (8500 are active, rest are
passive) and circular dependency checking off (we do circular
dependency checking in our test env before doing a config update) is
15 seconds.
