Generating availability report in Nagios 3.0.6

Well, I don't know that this will be of much help, but I would  
strongly suspect that memory is not the issue- I have a server with  
about 300 hosts, although there are significantly fewer services than  
you have, but it is running quite happily and generating reports for  
whatever period I want, with only 512MB ram. Actually, about 300MB of  
that is free at the moment, and when I run an availability report, the  
cgi only uses around 3MB. So whatever the issue is, I would doubt the  
problem is a lack of memory.
