There's no such banner on my Nagios installations, either on version 2
or version 3, assuming I'm looking at the same page you are (and I have
to guess because "the status page" is awfully vague).

Sounds like you've got a customized installation there, and you may want
to try finding who customized it if you can't figure it out on your own
by digging through your configuration files.
