Monitoring Request Tracker Queus

Does anyone have experience configuring Nagios to monitor queues in RT
(Request Tracker) for new tickets, or tickets that match other RT search
criteria?

 

If so, how did you do it?  Did you use a Nagios plugin or did you right
your own, and would you make it available to others?
