Nagios 3.0.4 performance issue

If you could create a configuration that displays the problem using
nagios-3.0.4, and then verifying that the problem still exists in
nagios-3.0.5p1 (at http://www.op5.org/src/nagios-3.0.5p1.tar.gz),
that would be awesome. I'm afraid I have very little time to work on
this, but any nudges in the right direction makes it easier to get
more time.
