Can a remote client send a file to Nagios or vice versa?

Sounds like a wrong way to tackle the problem. You should forward the
logs realtime (syslog comes to mind) and then you can analyze them as
much as you like.

If you need to analyze the logs then make sure they are stored safely first.

It's not Nagios job to transfer file from one system to another. You can
use syslog to do this realtime or use tools like putty and friends to do
~ it batchwise.
