Hi there:

I'm having a little issue that meaby u can help me here.

I had running a previous version of nagios 1.3 , and the status output for that was status.log located under /usr/local/nagios/var with a format more or less like this.

[1200300255] HOST;webmail1-priv;UP;1200282375;1199189905;0;57855580;16133;14463;0;0;1;1;1;1;0;0.00;0;1;1;OK - 10.128.1.61: rta 0.812ms, lost 0%
[1200300255] HOST;webmail2-priv;UP;1200298715;1199189893;0;57864792;2703;18681;0;0;1;1;1;1;0;0.00;0;1;1;OK - 10.128.1.62: rta 0.848ms, lost 0%
[1200300255] HOST;www;UP;1200295925;1141980012;0;57876631;0;8979;0;0;1;1;1;1;0;0.00;0;1;1;OK - 10.136.16.46: rta 0.186ms, lost 0%
[1200300255] SERVICE;GIETISPCA01A;HTTP;OK;1/5;HARD;1200300130;1200300430;ACTIVE;1;1;1;1200014865;0;OK;27481710;0;0;22745;0;0;1;0;0;1;0;0.00;0;1;1;1;HTTP OK HTTP/1.0 200 OK - 6587 bytes in 0.140 seconds
[1200300255] SERVICE;GIETISPCA01A;PING;OK;1/5;HARD;1200299967;1200300267;ACTIVE;1;1;1;1200280765;0;OK;28991875;0;0;14061;0;0;1;0;0;1;0;0.00;0;1;1;1;OK - 10.136.31.244: rta 0.615ms, lost 0%

Now with a NEW version of NAgios ( 2.1 ) the format of my log is different and the name of the file has also changed... name of the file is now status.dat and format looks like this :

service {
        host_name=AFRODITA
        service_description=Cola_CPU
        modified_attributes=0
        check_command=win-cola-procesador
        event_handler=
        has_been_checked=1
        should_be_scheduled=1
        check_execution_time=1.218
        check_latency=453.154
        check_type=0
        current_state=0
        last_hard_state=0
        current_attempt=1
        max_attempts=5
        state_type=1
        last_state_change=1200195341
        last_hard_state_change=1197359367
        last_time_ok=1200305205

Instead of recive the log status with coma-separated i get it with this new format... is there any way to change my actual status.dat to the previus version of Nagios?? I'm using some custom web pages developed in php and i need the old log format to keep them without any change.

Regards.

Sergio
