Perfdata from distributed nodes?

I'm unable to test this but the correct format for nagios to recognize  
performance data is 'output | perfdata'. Does using the following  
command_line work as expected --

command_line    $USER5$/send_service_check.pl $HOSTNAME$
'$SERVICEDESC$' $SERVICESTATEID$ '$SERVICEOUTPUT$ | $SERVICEPERFDATA$'


Note that you were also missing the final $ in $SERVICEPERFDATA above.  
It might have been an e-mail typo only though.
