Nagios doesn't die when killed

Doesn't look like it.

Other ideas?  (I'd like to regard upgrading to 3.0.6 as a last resort,
since I can't seem to find an RPM I could rebuild; Fedora 10 has
3.0.5, so rebuilding that for RHEL was trivial.)
