I don't know this help desk system, but usually help desks systems have an
"mail eater" functionality, do a little search so you can find out.

What we do here (only for links monitoring), is:
- Nagios, sends an e-mail to the help desk system (CA Service Desk) and
disable the host/service notification, so futher problems about the SAME
host/service won't go to the help desk system again.
- An AS is open at the system, and categorized correctly according to the
e-mail (CA Service desk provide a field for this).
- After the problem is solved, the help desk system sends a SNMP TRAP to
nagios, and nagios re-enable notifications for the host/service.
