Missing libraries with nagios 2.8 download

I download nagios2.8 related src rpms and built it. I don't see the lib
directory at the end of build and nor in the downloadable files. Where
is the src available to build the libraries. ? The following is a list
of libs in 2.0.x that we currently use. 

I also could not get libexec/ either. Appreciate any
suggestions/pointers.

libpp_storage_gnuplot.a
 libpp_storage_mysql.a
 libpp_storage_stdout.a
 libpp_mysql.a
 libpp_storage_file_output.a
 libpp_storage_print.a
 libpp_storage_socket_output.a
 libnagios_perfdata_parser.a
 libpp_common.a
