socket timeout issues with check_nt

I had some problems (not quite the same as yours though) after
upgrading the plugins for Nagios until I remembered that for check_nt
I had been using the version of check_nt from
http://www.shatterit.com/nc_net/ .  I had forgotten that by
reinstalling the default plugins it would overwrite the shatterit
version.

I don't know if that will help you in your situation, but thought it
worth mentioning anyway.
