Host-perdata output in web interface

Hey list,
Currently I have my service data being output to a file using the
process-service-perfdata command in Nagios 2.10. What I am seeing in the
web interface is an OK status of the performance data, but no output. I
know the file is being updated correctly, because service-perfdata.out
shows correct data concurrent to my check settings. What I would like to
see in the output field is the check latency information. I am no
programmer, and reading through the documentation on writing my own
plugins yielded no results, so I come to the list asking for any advice
on how to do this simply? Maybe someone has something they have already
written that I could use as a guide?

Thanks,

Stephen
