All of this is handled on the list before. But these are basic tasks
expected to be done by someone willing to run beta software.

If you can not perform these tasks then do not install the software.
This may sound hard but it is because so many people lack sysadmin skils
yet install computers and software themselves that we waste 95% of all
email resources on spam for example.

You may just install nagios 2.0.10 through rpmforge.
