check hp ethernet team

Hi list..

I'm trying do check ho ethernet team on my dl380 servers..I'm trying to
use check_ifstatus, but the check returns always ok because it checks
the bonding eht not the fisical interfaces..so if in disconnect a
ethernet cable I still recive status OK...
How can I check the state of my bondig??
