Notification/escalation configuration question

The first is easy: set up separate email and pager contacts, and put a
notification time period on the pager contact.

For the second, my coffee hasn't kicked in yet, and I'm not sure I've
got my head around what you're trying to do... Sounds like you just need
escalations with different timeperiods on them.
