snmp issue

Ravi, has your device on 192.168.x.x been configured with an snmp
community string of "public"? Assuming so, perhaps first try from
the command line manually something like:

snmpget -v 1 -c my_community_string 192.168.1.2 sysUpTime.0

which works for me on one of my hosts. It's possible that you are
missing libsnmp or something that is preventing snmpget from working.
