Using Hostgroups - Notification

This may be a very simple fix. I am using hostgroups for my service
checks instead of single hosts for the service definitions. When nagios
sends out a notification that there is an issue, it adds the hostgroup
name for the host in the email, not the actual hostname. The only way we
know what host to look at to rectify the problem is by looking at the IP
address used in the email. Is there a way to monitor using hostgroups
yet be notified using the name of the host in the email and not the
hostgoup?
