log checking plugins?

Thanks very much; that was pretty much all I needed (although I do feel that
my ideal situation of an alert staying red until manually cleared ought to
be considered in situations such as log checking that are kind of logically
distinct from situations which really can clear themselves (e.g. CPU load
critical; disk space at 0% free etc.). Anyhow, no big deal; thanks again.
