Assume UP

I'm running nagios 2.0b4 and I have a question about trends:

When I choose a trend for a host, the program takes the initial state as 'unespecified', but it's up all the time.

Anyone knows how can I put the first assumed host/service assumed state as UP for all hosts/services??

Thanks
