Want to monitor Oracle , without running scripts on the Oracle Server

Hi Ben 
   Thanks for the mail , I am using a very low
configuration PC for nagios , and I prefer not to
install anything else other than OS + nagios 
      I should try to work on the SNMP way , as
Andreas  suggested
