check_dns plugin error

You'll probably want to give us your configs for both the service check
that calls check_dns and the checkcommand config.

Does your check_dns checkcommand config have $ARG1$?
ie:
define checkcommand {
	command_name	check_dns
	command_line	/your/check_dns $ARG1$
}

HTH.
