| Take at look here:

I'm building on Solaris 8 and still fail to link the gd libraries.

I did a 'make clean', 'make devclean', and re-ran

./configure --with-gd-lib=/usr/local/lib --with-gd-inc=/usr/local/include

in the /usr/local/lib directory I find:

-rw-r--r--   1 bin      bin       347828 Apr  4 10:40 libgd.a
-rwxr-xr-x   1 bin      bin         1055 Apr  4 10:40 libgd.la*
lrwxrwxrwx   1 root     other         14 May 23 16:03 libgd.so ->
libgd.so.2.0.0*
lrwxrwxrwx   1 root     other         14 May 23 16:03 libgd.so.2 ->
libgd.so.2.0.0*
-rwxr-xr-x   1 bin      bin       329900 Apr  4 10:40 libgd.so.2.0.0*

and in /usr/local/include

-rw-r--r--   1 bin      bin        32291 Apr  4 10:40 gd.h
-rw-r--r--   1 bin      bin         1147 Apr  4 10:40 gd_io.h
-rw-r--r--   1 bin      bin         2812 Apr  4 10:40 gdcache.h
-rw-r--r--   1 bin      bin          623 Apr  4 10:40 gdfontg.h
-rw-r--r--   1 bin      bin          621 Apr  4 10:40 gdfontl.h
-rw-r--r--   1 bin      bin          590 Apr  4 10:40 gdfontmb.h
-rw-r--r--   1 bin      bin          585 Apr  4 10:40 gdfonts.h
-rw-r--r--   1 bin      bin          617 Apr  4 10:40 gdfontt.h
-rw-r--r--   1 bin      bin         2396 Apr  4 10:40 gdfx.h

Is it that the gdImagePng() function really isn't in there?

Jeff
