You could use a host template that has perfdata disabled in your
hosts.cfg.

Subject: [Nagios-users] Only service perfdata?

Hi List!

I recomplie Nagios 1.2 with default perfdata method.

I did everything what the documentaton said, except I have not yet
enabled performance data in main cfg file.

I test nagios with -v and it was successfull. I tried to comment out
host_perfdata_command=process-host-perfdata and test again. It was
successfull.

I don't need host performance data, but I didn't find any mention that I
can use only service_perfdata_command.

Is it possible, or cause Nagios to hang?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Tamas!
