Regular Expression Matching

Hello,
I am using Nagios 2.0b2 and I am having problems with the regular
expression support. What I would like to do is for instance:

- check all hosts abc-.* except abc-10 and abc-11
- check all hosts .* but not if the name contains xyz

I tried several combinations (with both use_regexp_matching and
use_true_regexp_matching) but couldn't make it work. The documentation
does not cover these things in detail so I would be very grateful if
somebody could give me a hint or an example.

Besides that I want to thank everybody who contributes to Nagios, it
is a great tool. Regards,

Philipp
