plugin timeout

hi list,

          I want to increase "CHECK_NRPE: Socket timeout after 10 
seconds" for a single host beacause server is in remote locations with 
very bad dsl connection. which causing lot of alerts in nagios web 
interface and lot of nagios emails.

Any idea howto increase service check time for a single host/services to 
get rid of this "Socket timeout" things
