I only monitor a few internal servers using the plugin and
that isn't the case on those, but I can believe it might happen.
I guess each service check is implicitly asking a question - the more
general the question, the more an alert is just a prompt to
investigate and ask further questions rather than being an answer in
itself. "Is an automatic service not running?" is a fairly general
question compared to, say, "Is the disk full?".
