Greetings to all,

Ok, Looks like our Nagios crashed some time in the last day or so without so
much as a peep... Now when I restart it (pre-flight is ok) there is no
problem with the process, but on the webpage I'm getting "Warning:
Monitoring process may not be running!" and when I look under the process
Info I see the following...

Program Start Time: 02-17-2005 22:17:24
Total Running Time: 0d 0h 5m 16s
Last External Command Check: 02-17-2005 22:22:24
Last Log File Rotation: N/A
Nagios PID 20634
Notifications Enabled? YES
Service Checks Being Executed? YES
Passive Service Checks Being Accepted? YES
Event Handlers Enabled? Yes
Obsessing Over Services? No
Flap Detection Enabled? No
Performance Data Being Processed? No

Process Commands
It appears as though Nagios is not running, so commands are temporarily
unavailable...

Process Status: CRITICAL
Check Command Output: Could not locate a running Nagios process!

Looking in the /usr/local/nagios/var, I see the nagios.lock file and I see
the nagios.cmd in /usr/local/nagios/var/rw

What am I not seeing/checking for here?

Thanks!

Tom
