problem with scheduling downtime externally

After moving from Nagios 1.2 to 2.03b, I have not been able to get recurring downtime scheduled.

I used to use the schedule downtime via cronjob scripts gotten off nagios exchange. When I moved to the new version, these scripts no longer worked even though I confirmed that they were pointing to the right place. I also tried to issue the command directly to the FIFO pipe file and that didn't seem to help either. Has anyone else experienced this problem or is this specific to my setup?

Thanks,

Leah
