nagios email settings

Hi

Could somebody tell me where i can configure the email settings for nagios? 
- is this something done in the nagios config or somewhere in my linux 
config?

Currently when an email is sent from nagios it comes up as 
nagios at localhost.localdomain.

I would like to change this but dont know where the config details are.   
Any help would be much appreciated.
