Error Message with check_http

Why put a username and password to a restricted site in a plain-text 
file on the monitoring machine?

Furthermore, the information you get back is valuable in and of itself:

1. That you get any response tells you the web server is up and running.
2. That you get the specific response you do tells you that 
authentication on the site is working.

What's wrong with that?
