getting a ps error when trying to start

nagios isn't in the path.  Try running /usr/local/nagios/bin/nagios -v
If that doesn't work,  double check where the nagios home directory is and 
run ~/bin/nagios

sorry about the hotmail munging of your spaces...

But this is curious.  What is in the /etc/init.d/nagios script that is 
calling a ps incorrectly?
